Road Work Alert!
An extensive road project is set to begin on Monday, September 22nd. The entirety of North Elm Street, from Route 7 (Stateline Pizza) to the Shell Gas Station intersection, will be completely milled down and repaved.
Please use caution when you are traveling or walking in the area, as there will be times when the road will be brought down to one travel lane, and even closed temporarily as they reposition equipment. Stay alert to all traffic control signals.
Also, please take notice that during this project, the Housatonic Railroad will be installing a brand new railroad crossing. This effort will require that North Elm Street be CLOSED to all thru traffic on Tuesday 9/23 and Wednesday 9/24, both day and night. Deliveries and patrons will still be able to access all nearby businesses, we just ask that they enter from the correct side at that moment.
