The North Canaan Town Clerk’s Office now offers large-format printing and scanning services for residents, contractors, surveyors, engineers, attorneys, businesses, and others who need oversized documents reproduced or digitized.
Our 36-inch wide-format printer/scanner can accommodate many types of documents, including:
- Survey maps
- Construction plans
- Architectural drawings
- Engineering plans
- Subdivision maps
- Zoning and assessment maps
- Posters and other oversized documents

Before You Visit
Customers should provide print-ready PDF files whenever possible. Large-volume jobs may require advance notice and are subject to staff availability. The Town Clerk’s Office does not provide drafting, design, or document-alteration services.
Town Records
Copies of surveys and maps that are already filed in the Town Clerk’s Office are charged separately based on the actual cost of reproduction, as required by Connecticut law. A $2.00 certification fee applies when a certified copy is requested.
